I’ve read all the main GoT books and Fire and Blood, but I never read Dunk and Egg. I’m ready for a good story. Hopefully.

1. So, we start off with a dead body. Cool, cool, cool.
2. Are all three horses his?
3. Oh, to be an actor whose only job is to lay there.
4. Don’t head to King’s Landing. Nothing good ever comes from going there.
5. Was he trained as a knight? Or just picked up the skills? I’m a little fuzzy on that.
6. Oh, there’s our good GoT music.
7. And, immediate cut to him pooping. Lovely. Not really needed. Was that the first attempt at some humor? Because that hurt.
8. Is that Egg?
9. Who is this?
10. Who is anyone? Is this how people felt watching GoT when they hadn’t read the books?
11. Where did Dunk get money?
12. Egg, you are like 9. Why are you bald? Unless he has the Targaryen hair. Then, it makes sense.
13. Time for a tourney.
14. We’ve seen more children running around with no fear than in all the other shows.
15. Is Dunk telling the truth about actually being knighted?
16. These humor attempts are rough.
17. Then how did he pay for his meal if he hasn’t any coin? Make sense, Mr. Knight.
18. A hedge knight is a knight, but sadder.
19. Has Dunk never interacted with normal people? His understanding of the world seems a little lacking.
20. Such familial love between cousins, there.
21. First naked person, and it’s a man. Truely a drastic change from GoT.
22. Why is that woman pretending to be dead?
23. Now, I can see his real height. Dude is huge.
24. Halfman is now meant differently. Half man, half giant.
25. Lyonel is an interesting person. Definitely see Robert in him.
26. Ok, seeing Lyonel dance got a full laugh out of me.
27. Dude is well and truly wasted.
28. Not Dunk wearing the antlers now. He is giving Loki.
29. Dunk is an overthinker. Join the club.
30. Lyonel looks a lot like Tyrion. I wonder if the beard was intentional.
31. And look who’s here. Egg.
32. Yep, King’s Landing. Just the Red Keep, not Flea Bottom.
33. Ser Duncan the Tall. Good man.
34. Embrace the hedge knight name, Dunk.
35. Egg is so small.

Well, short but sweet. Some fun moments so far. It’s a much simpler story, but enjoyable.
