The Bachelor S27E5 Thoughts

  1. Based on this preview, there’s a lot of crying tonight. I’m ready.
  2. Every place is the perfect place to fall in love whenever the show films there. According to each lead.
  3. I have never heard anyone refer to London as romantic.
  4. I completely forgot about Greer.
  5. I love that guy’s hat.
  6. Is this the shopping date? Every bachelor season has one.
  7. I would immediately be overwhelmed by all the smells in that shop and pass out.
  8. How’d you meet? I stuffed maple syrup down his throat.
  9. Oh god, Zabi.
  10. This man worked for the royal family, and now he’s on the Bachelor. How the mighty have fallen.
  11. Forget Zach. Give me the corgis!
  12. I like the purple dress more than the blue one.
  13. And the awkward walk in the room holding all the shopping bags.
  14. I don’t recall the woman who gets the shopping trip showing all the stuff to the others before.
  15. Greer, you don’t have a monopoly on tea.
  16. She should want to go on a date with Zach. The date shouldn’t really matter. She just wanted the shopping and tea.
  17. This is so awkward.
  18. And then Greer continued to sit there and cry after Gabi went in the room.
  19. I would spill that drink so fast.
  20. Zach really loves throwing Rachel under the bus whenever he can.
  21. I do like how Gabi feels with Zach. She appreciates his actions, and they seem to have a good connection.
  22. And now Mercedes is breaking down. This is breakdown week.
  23. I still don’t think we’ve seen Zach talk with Mercedes much at all.
  24. And Gabi gets the rose. No surprise there.
  25. Should I know who UB40 is?
  26. Will this group date just be exploring like the last one? Nothing wrong with it. Just not really a date when there’s nine of you.
  27. ZACH HAS COVID AND SENT THEM OFF ON THE DATE ALONE
  28. I’m calling it.
  29. Time for just sightseeing. I’d take a free sightseeing trip around London.
  30. That weather looks sunny for London.
  31. Kylee, it’s not a date because Zach isn’t there. That’s why it doesn’t feel like a date.
  32. Why don’t they just go into the lower deck of the bus?
  33. He described it as feeling jetlagged. I feel like that’s not his only symptom. Otherwise, he would have gone, anyway.
  34. Greer and Mercedes decided to just chug beers instead.
  35. Aly is obsessed with Zach’ height.
  36. They need to stop terrorizing this poor man.
  37. Will Zach show up to the after party?
  38. That has to be Jesse coming, right?

  40. They really had the women get all dressed up and head to the after party even though they for sure knew Zach wasn’t going.
  41. I’m sorry. If my date is sick and can’t make it, I’m not crying about it.
  42. It’s not being stood up when he’s sick.
  43. You would think producers would have tested Zach for covid right away.
  44. I forgot that Charity already had a one-on-one.
  45. And here’s Jesse to stamp out those positive thoughts.
  46. And there it is.
  47. So, he tested positive the day after he started having symptoms. I think it had to be before and the show was hoping it was a false positive.
  48. Yeah, now what? Do the women just have to hang out in the hotel all day, everyday?
  49. It’s like Love is Blind. Just talk through the door now.
  50. Did we really just get a flashback, like a cheesy romance movie?
  51. Shouldn’t Gabi have covid too? She was making out with Zach the day before he got sick.
  52. Also, wouldn’t they want the women to be separated in case some of them test positive?
  53. Video date time.
  54. How do they interrupt a virtual talk? Just walk into the room and push the woman out of the way?
  55. So, they just go into a room with a tablet to chat. How long do they each get to chat?
  56. Did he really need that all that lighting stuff for a video chat?
  57. He didn’t buy it. He can’t leave his room. Thank the intern that went and bought it instead.
  58. She was really more concerned about seeing herself on the screen.
  59. Nope, so uncomfortable.
  60. Why has she kissed an orange before?
  61. If Greer brings up tea, I will turn off the tv.
  62. Greer compared her having covid during the end of a sales quarter to Zach having covid during this.
  63. Oh, and he called her out there.
  64. This conversation is not going well. This is awkward.
  65. Did she really think those things were comparable?
  66. I wish I could be there to send them home – Zach basically.
  67. Will you accept this rose emoji I sent?
  68. Imagine if the Wi-Fi went out during the rose ceremony.
  69. Gabi, Kaity, Charity, Aly, Kat, Brooklyn, Jess, Ariel, and Greer got a rose.
  70. Greer really grabbed that rose so fast.
  71. I don’t know why he kept her after their last conversation though. Weird. Did production want him to keep her longer?
  72. Bye Mercedes and Kylee.
  73. That sounds creepy. I can’t wait to touch him. Eek.
  74. That older woman is just loving this.
  75. She can be on the older bachelor they are planning. If she’s single, of course.
