Chapter 5: The Nina Project
- I don’t think Harmon is going to make it.
- God, I’m still reeling from the last episode. I’m not emotionally prepared for more.
- Are we going to find out more about that attack on the kids when El was younger?
- Oh, I’ve heard of these silos.
- THAT’S NINA
- Is…is that Brenner?
- HELL NO
- ABORT ABORT ABORT
- NOT THIS AGAIN
- I knew there was something too good to be true with all this.
- Let El out. She doesn’t deserve to be experimented on again.
- I get the feeling that if El didn’t choose to go with Doc Owens, they would have kidnapped her.
- So, Hopper is still being beaten. Lovely.
- Lights flickering. Demogorgon time.
- Hopper needs to have another plan, asap.
- That plane looks safe to me.
- I’m so entertained by the peanut butter in this.
- I forgot Eddie was hiding there. It’s probably not a smart idea to be cooking in full view of a window.
- Mr. Wheeler is still a tool.
- They need Will, the artist.
- Max, love you, but you can’t draw.
- IT’S THE HOUSE
- DID THEY SHAVE HER AGAIN?
- No, this has to be a nightmare.
- Is this a dream or did Vecna get to El?
- If El killed all the kids, how did Kali get out?
- Is this part of the Nina project?
- So, it is the project. Is she supposed to relearn her powers by reliving everything?
- Argyle is so overwhelmed, and he did not sign up for burying a body.
- “Open our minds? That’s an open grave!”
- Yep, Will likes Mike.
- UNSCREW THE PEN
- Sneaky, very sneaky.
- Oh my god. That was why Sara got sick. Jeez.
- So, Hopper is a clear option for Vecna, with all his buried trauma.
- Hopper, you are not the curse. Don’t believe that for a second.
- Now Hopper shall see the real curse.
- Glad Eddie’s uncle just accepted it, and didn’t fight them on him moving.
- I find it so funny they think the Hellfire Club is a cult. If anything’s a cult, it’s this group of jocks.
- Crap, somebody warn Eddie.
- Oh, the house is still standing. Wouldn’t they have torn it down by now?
- Well, that’s one way to piss off Vecna.
- Lucas, did you really think the power would work?
- I love Dustin’s sarcasm when it’s directed at Steve.
- There’s always a first time for everything, Murray.
- El, I think every room will lead to the rainbow room.
- El has to relive that memory.
- The orderly is so creepy.
- So, there’s at least 12 kids.
- I really thought Argyle was going to take out that phone booth.
- We are going to find Suzie.
- NEVERENDING STORY
- Yeah, the jocks just want to talk. That’s why they brought weapons with them.
- Dustin, that was so helpful.
- Spider stash, spider stash.
- Aw, let’s have some Max and Lucas bonding time please.
- DO NOT FOLLOW THE LIGHTS
- So, the other kids didn’t like El. And Brenner helped it along.
- Nosebleed count: 5
- Kill count, off the charts.
- El reacted poorly to that kid insulting her, and killed them all, maybe.
- Murray is going to be beaten, isn’t he?
- Someone needs to sign Steve up for those karate lessons.
- Yuri is going to pass out and not be able to fly the plane.
- Way to go, Murray.
- Are they close to Russia or Alaska? All I see is snow so I can’t tell.
- Why are we following him, exactly?
- Eddie, run. You need to run now.
- What does Vecna want to show them?
- Or is he distracting them?
- Crap, Patrick is about to freeze in the water.
- POWERS ARE BACK BABY
- Nosebleed count: 6
- So, that part was real, and not part of Nina. Got it. Powers are back though. Just not perfect.
